Patchwriting

Myths today are not the seen the same as they were in the past. In today's society myth is lacking the historical aspect that fascinated scholars and historians of the past. People should more often reflect on other peoples values or religion, or in other terms, myth.

Something that I struggled with in my Issues paper was the counterargument. My topic is how the US Military's ethics and morals have declined over the last decade and how dangerous it is to society. I don't know a counterargument because no one is going to be like having low morals and ethics is a good thing. So if anyone has any ideas that I can use, please comment!

  1. Maybe one counterargument could be that those people who have committed terrible acts (like killing civilians, etc.) don't represent the standards of the military. There are crazies everywhere. Also, another counterargument could be that the military has always been like this. Maybe we're just hearing more about it now because we have better media today than we used to and people hear about the low morals and ethics of the military. Hope that helps. :)

  2. Another thing would to be that some people that are contributing to the values decreasing don't feel like the values of the military have changed. That's all I can think of.
